Palawan is the largest island in the Western Philippine province of Palawan. The capital, Puerto Princesa, is famous for its biodiversity Puerto Princesa Underground National Park, where boats sail through large caves along an underground river. Across the east coast, the islands of Honda Bay are full of resorts. A short distance from the sea, the Tubbataha Reef Nature Park has reefs full of marine life.
